U.S. Open News!

Ed Selling, who I played last night in the Kenilworth CC Summer Tourney, sent me the following link to an updated site devoted to the U.S. Open:

http://www.suburban-chess.org/2005USOpen/

According to the latest standings, Joel Benjamin, Alex Yermolinsky, and Arizona native Rogelio Barcenilla have perfect scores going into Round 6. Thanks to the South Suburban Arizona chess organization for putting together this useful site!

BTW: I may post my game with Ed this weekend if I have time to look it through (and if I'm not too embarrassed by what I discover). Though I won, it was quite a mess in time pressure. I thought the opening (a Nimzovich with 1.e4 Nc6 2.Nf3 d6) went well for me and was interesting.
